About the Client
Revolutionizing German educational assessment: A standardized platform with intelligent automation designed to significantly cut evaluation time. The system routes materials to appropriate reviewers automatically and streamlines task distribution, transforming fragmented processes into an intuitive workflow for educators nationwide.
Project Goal
Create a unified digital platform to standardize and streamline the evaluation process for educational media across German schools and universities.
My Role
Lead UX/UI designer responsible for transforming complex evaluation procedures into an intuitive digital experience.
What Was Done
Research: Interviews with educators and analysis of workflows across multiple institutions
Strategy: Development of a standardized assessment framework adaptable to different media types
Design: Creation of wireframes, prototypes, and a cohesive visual design system
Design System: Development of a comprehensive design system with reusable components, ensuring consistency across the platform and facilitating future scaling
Testing: Usability testing with educators to refine interface and interactions
Accessibility: Implementation of carefully tested contrast ratios, accessible typography, and comprehensive accessibility settings menu with light, dark, and high-contrast themes to accommodate diverse user needs
